County Prep student April Kibalo was selected to represent the Martin Luther King Jr. Leadership Conference at the School Climate and Anti-Bullying Conference on May 25th, at Stockton University, NJ. April spoke in a panel discussion at this event. She was chosen as a graduate of the MLK Jr. Leadership Conference’s 2016-2017 program year. The MLK program is a Youth Empowerment Conference that inspires and empowers high school students to become effective advocates and allies for peaceful social change on issues of violence, prejudice and discrimination. April will be spoke with other MLK graduates and staff members of the MLK program. She shared what inspires her to care about issues of diversity and social justice.
