Students at County Prep High School had the opportunity during spring recess to travel to Peru, the world of the Inca Empire. During this trip, students were able to share with local communities in the Sacred Valley and learn how they preserve their history, art and heritage. Our students were also able to explore the archaeological remains of the Inca Empire as well as to experience their lasting cultural influences. They took in the breathtaking sights of the mighty Andes. They also interacted with community leaders that have changed the life of the indigenous people of Cusco through projects that support economic sustainability, local agriculture and access to education for children.
