(Bayonne, NJ—May 2,
2016) The judges at the 30th Annual Teen Arts Student Art Expo have
honored six High Tech students for their artistic achievements at the award
ceremony at the Bayonne Library and Cultural Center, which showcased Hudson
County Fine Arts students’ artworks from May 2th through May 9th, announced Dr. Joseph Giammarella, Principal of High Tech High School.
In total, fifty-seven
High Tech visual arts students displayed their creativity and talent at the Art
Expo.
Students from High
Tech High School honored with awards include Danica Lichauco of Bayonne, who
earned Top Honors, and five others who earned Judges Awards for their artworks:
Enzo Iwase, also from Bayonne, and Jersey City residents Pauline Bertholon,
Tulsi Franklin, Kyree Johnson, and Kaitlin Lima.
“All the artwork was done
on a high level,” says Bill Kennon, veteran Art Instructor at High Tech High
School. “Judges had difficulty choosing the award recipients.”
