Job Shadowing at Wiley & Sons a Great Experience for County Prep Students

On Friday, April 28th, County Prep students participated in a Job Shadowing event at Wiley & Sons located in Hoboken, New Jersey sponsored by Junior Achievement.  Upon arrival, the students attended a presentation on the history of Wiley & Sons which is an educational publishing firm that offers an array of educational products. The students participated in several interactive workshops including Filming & Cover Design and Digital Development & Delivery and provided constructive feedback on the different products.   The Wiley & Sons employees shared their personal experiences as to their expected and yet unexpected career trajectories.   Students interacted with employees in a Q&A session as an open forum for our students to seek out advice and guidance in preparation for their post-secondary aspirations.  The students thoroughly enjoyed the experience and now have an increased awareness of potential career pathways within Wiley & Sons.
