High Tech’s D/FAB Academy Featured on Taiwanese News Network SET TV


(April 10, 2018)—SET TV, a Taiwanese news network, has featured High Tech High School’s Academy for Design and Fabrication (D/FAB) in an in-depth news series on schools specializing in educational excellence from China to the United States, announced Dr. Joseph Giammarella, Principal of High Tech High School.

SET TV’s segment on D/FAB features interviews with Dr. Giammarella and captures classroom interactions between teachers and students in the workshops.  Projects initiated in workshops run by Zach Bolich, Sergio Gamarra, and Gregory Simon also figure prominently in the news segment, as does the Bio-Med academy and French Cafe.

SET TV, a Mandarin Chinese speaking news network, has its headquarters in Taiwan, with major coverage areas including Hong Kong, Taiwan, Japan, Singapore, Malaysia, and Thailand.  SET TV can be found in the United States by provider DirecTV.
