A Business and IT team of County Prep High School seniors Carmen Chen, Sabrina-Lee
Caballo, and Brianna Liu won recognition for their project encouraging girls to
participate in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) career
programs. Based on their mastery of their training, its application, the
project’s benefit to their community, and display and presentation techniques,
the team was awarded a silver medal.
NJ SkillsUSA held the Career Pathways Showcase contests on
Friday, March 27th at Sussex County Technical School in Sparta, NJ.
In the Career Pathways Showcase, student teams use their course of study as the
basis of a project that will benefit their class, school, community or
industry. The project highlights an aspect of their career cluster training. The
students develop a display and use it to explain their training and their
project. Congratulations to Carmen, Sabrina, and Brianna.
